The problem
Long snow cover and repeated moisture had worn the board-and-batten siding and garage doors down to weathered wood, worst along the bottom of the walls.
What we did
- Restained the siding and garage doors
- Applied a Liquid Rubber membrane along the base of the walls and doors, the zone that sits in snow
Liquid Rubber is a liquid-applied membrane that cures into one continuous, flexible layer over wood, concrete and metal. The manufacturer rates it to stay flexible down to −45°F.
